Audition info for Company

Company runs from April 30th 2027-May 16th 2027
Rehearsals will begin in early to mid March.

Synopsis: Stephen Sondheim’s Company follows Bobby, a single New Yorker surrounded by married friends who all seem to have an opinion about what Bobby’s life should look like.

Through a series of funny, messy, and deeply human moments, Bobby begins to see beyond the picture-perfect versions of love and marriage—and question the expectations that have shaped his own life.

At its heart, Company is a story about connection, vulnerability, and finding the courage to stop living the life others expect and start discovering what you truly want.

The creative team is looking for the following:

Think of the ages listed as a starting point rather than a ceiling! We’re very open to casting these roles older and encourage performers above the listed age ranges to audition.

We have secured the rights for Company that is the 2013 verion, based on the characters that are from the original version.

Robert (Playing 30s+, Male) G5-G4: The story’s protagonist, he is a keen observer who appears happy but holds pain in his heart. He is the only one of his friends still single. Terrified of marriage and fears a lifelong loneliness.

Sarah (Playing 30s+) A5-A3: Harry’s hyper critical wife. She is an avid learner of karate and tends to overeat. Open, accepting, and full of love.

Harry (Playing 30s+, Male) A5-A3: Sarah’s husband. He is a recovering alcoholic continually falling off the wagon. Believes the advantages of marriage outweigh the disadvantages.

Susan (Playing 30s+, Female) A5-A3: A delicate southern belle. Peter’s wife and ex-wife. Motherly in her affections towards Robert.

Larry (Playing 40s+, Male) A5-B3: Joanne’s husband. He is stoic and centered, but has moments of goofiness. Indulges his wife’s behavior but knows when to put his foot down.
