Unfortunately, the world has other plans.

As Waverly waits for news about her missing twin sister, an awkward first date quickly spirals into an absurd evening involving a strange neighbor, an even stranger girlfriend, a sock puppet, a mysterious Stage Manager, and enough strange coincidences to make anyone question reality.

Recent Tragic Events is a sharp, surreal dark comedy about bad timing, bizarre connections, and the ridiculous ways we try to make sense of a world that suddenly makes no sense at all.
